Happy belated Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their families and friends. We spent our holiday up in Crookston again this year. We ate too much... definitely... but we had a great time. I also was able to fit in a couple sessions- I just wish there was more time available. The visits home are always too quick. Before we know it Christmas will be here- I can''t believe it.
Georgie had a wonderful time with both sets of grandparents. He is going to have a hard week of getting back into ''real life'' again. He gets so much lovin'' up north that when he comes home he forgets some of the rules and has a hard time being his normal self. Oh well, that''s grandparents'' job right? I am sure my mom had to deal with attitude from us girls also. Georgie has great interest in photography like his mama. He always wants to take pictures and is so enthusiastic about his results... the pretty pictures. Grandma Carrie gave him an early Christmas gift- his very own digital camera. Our entire family is still seeing dots from that darn flash he had in our faces all weekend. His smile could not get any bigger. He is in love with his new camera and wants to take pictures of everyone and everything. It''s fun to see him so excited about something that I am as well. Maybe we''ll open a studio together some day. HAAA!!!
He loved all the nummy Thanksgiving food, and is partial to pie... especially pumpkin pie. He ate very well at both Gma''s houses- and his pants seem a bit tighter after the holiday! He tried almost all of the different foods and liked almost all of them. We are lucky to have such a great eater.
We stopped at the outlets on the way out of town on Wednesday and got Georgie a new winter jacket. A big, warm, fluffy red jacket. He looks so sweet in his new coat- but says he doesn''t like it because it''s too big. It really isn''t much too big- he just isn''t used to the fluffy jacket when in his car seat. We''ll have to work on that!
As for potty training- we are a diaperless house now. It''s so exciting to say that- and how easy it really was. I was anticipating a horrible time with him- but it was the opposite. Both peeing and pooping was a snap for our little man. He still needs reminders and we have our occasional accident (usually in exciting circumstances)- but they are few and far between. I was most nervous about the drive home and back- but he did terrific! We are so proud of him and couldn''t be more excited!!! He''s a big boy now!
